Adding Trust With Moderated Testimonials (Without Spam)

The problem

Social proof improves conversions, but open forms attract spam. The solution is a lightweight moderation step.

The approach

  1. Collect name, role, rating, and message
  2. Save as pending
  3. Admin approves or rejects
  4. Only approved reviews show on the site

Why it matters

Users trust reviews more when they look real and consistent — and when emails are never shown publicly.
